Projects at Faith Academy
Student Assistance Fund
The Student Assistance Fund can have a profound impact as missionary families face the challenge of an increasing cost of education. Through the years the needs have increased from 10-12 scholarships to now supporting more than 40. Our boarding program enables families whose distance from the school would otherwise impact the ability to provide a quality education for their children. As the cost of living increases, those families face an additional struggle to enroll even one student. The student assistance fund enables these missionaries to access quality education and boarding. We desire to increase the number of scholarships and allocate a higher percentage to those with the greatest need.
Parking Expansion
An increase of missionary families living locally and more families owning cars met with a campus rich with school life and activities means more vehicles coming to campus every day. Despite coordinated efforts, we struggle to meet the parking needs. Constructing additional parking will eliminate frustration and make our campus both more accessible and safe for our whole community.
People with Disabilities Accessibility
Our PWD (People with Disabilities) Project was envisioned to create a huge impact on our missionary community, serving those with physical disabilities. We have stairs everywhere, making it challenging for PWD to have access to our campus. A new ramp located in front of the High School building has been constructed and available to serve community members and guests on wheelchairs. Following this, we are prayerfully hoping to complete the project by receiving the donations needed to purchase and install a platform lift in our Middle School building.
